Musical Orphans make it magical for Mark and Michelle

When it comes to wedding venues, they don't get much more breathtaking the Leeds Castle, in the heart of Kent. When Michelle and husband-to-be Mark got in touch with Adam Chandler, they had a proposition that was music to his ears – the broad theme of their wedding was “modern day chivalry”, but, when it came to music, they'd leave that entirely up to him!

On the big day, the weather was co-operating with a stylish celebration, soft sunlight setting off the grounds perfectly. For Musical Orphans, used to travelling across the UK, the chance to perform in one of the most iconic venues their home county has to offer was not to be missed.

After a simple, private ceremony for family and close friends, Mark and Michelle were celebrating with a hot buffet, followed by the all-important disco and dancing. With the buffet being a chance for guests to relax, chat, and unwind, there was no need for musical accompaniment, so Musical Orphans took the opportunity to get set up, ready to hit the right note from the very first moment the doors to the dance floor opened.

“Modern day chivalry” had been the brief, and Musical Orphans delivered perfectly, choosing a selection of pop songs and country ballads, and putting their own musical stamp on the tunes. Classic rock even made an entrance; the couple had bravely allowed Adam free reign over their first dance, which they'd been keen to encourage their guests to join them for. In keeping with the theme, and to really get things swinging, the first song to be played by Musical Orphans that night was Meatloaf's “I Would Do Anything For Love”; from the reaction that got, we're fairly sure that Mark and Michelle won't consider their wedding day a lemon, and want their money back!
