With 1600 watts of continuous power the new ELIAS PX system offers substantially more power amplification than its predecessor. For these and other reasons, this added power makes it possible to enjoy tighter more manageable bass.
The satellite unit is equipped with a 12" speaker and a 1" horn. These components are responsible for a much higher maximum sound pressure level, and they ensure that the vocals have no problem loudly and clearly reaching the final row of a larger hall.
Actively powered satellites for added flexibility
With the ELIAS PX system, not just the bass cabinets but also the satellites are equipped with a controller and power amplifier. Think of the advantages: when you play a gig in a pub or smaller bar, you can leave the bass cabinets in the rehearsal room, and let the satellites serve as the perfectly sized ultra-compact active PA. And for greater versatility in the opposite direction, the ELIAS PX system can be expanded with additional active bass cabinets. So you can start with your basic system and, when the time is right, turn it into a PA system that can very capably "pump up the jams" in larger halls or outdoors.

We now present the third generation of MixWizard, with even better sound quality, new preamp design, tailored EQ frequencies, an extra mono output on fader which can switched to provide a sub-bass mix from channel aux 6, and several routing changes to make the engineer's life easier. Put together with new styling, extra lamp socket, new Sys-Link options and backup power supply and it's easy to see that we just made the best even better.
Tascam MD-350 incorporates the latest advancements in MD technology. The latest ATRAC encoding scheme (version 3) is implemented, offering new long play versions with up to 320 minutes of record time on a standard 80 minute MiniDisc.wedding singer adam chandler A front panel PS/2 keyboard port allows intuitive control over editing the MiniDisc's TOC (Table Of Contents) and naming tracks.
A complete host of audio I/O makes integrating the MD-350 into any system easy. Balanced and unbalanced analog ports are available, as well as digital optical ports. A front panel optical port can be used to connect portable players digitally without crawling behind the machine rack.
Pitch control function is available on the MD-350, with a clear on/off switch on the front panel. Plus, a few cueing functions have been added, making sound cues easier for live situations:
- Auto Cue positions the machine to the first audio in a MD track, rather than the actual ID location. This eliminates dead space in the beginning of the track, allowing tighter cues for live shows or on-air environments.
- Auto Ready pauses the machine at each track ID. This is ideal for live environments, allowing the engineer to cue in one track and forget about the machine - it automatically sets itself at the next cue. This is ideal since this also prevents the machine from accidentally rolling into the next cue on the MD.

The 55SH Series II microphone has a cardioid (unidirectional) polar pickup pattern that minimizes sound pickup from the rear of the microphone. This allows the Model 55SH Series II to be used in close proximity to loudspeakers without creating feedback problems, and it can perform under adverse acoustic conditions where omnidirectional microphones cannot
